Solar shading for AirBus….

Recently installed at the new AirBus design Headquarters building in Bristol is HanitaUK’s superior external grade Titan 07 XTRA window film. The 550 sq metre installation onto the four glazed Atria roof areas was successfully completed in just 2 weeks and was another great example of Bonwyke and HanitaUK delivering the perfect pacakge to the client.

Working alongside the main site contractor, Miller Construction Ltd, Bonwyke’s installation team installed the film to over 650 panes and applied a silicone edge sealant as part of the films long 5 year warranty criteria.

In the shade….

The Titan 07 XTRA  is an external dual reflective film with very good shading capabilities, reducing glare levels by 92%. It was specifically chosen for this product to reduce the low winter sun effect that was hindering the use of internal computer screens by some of the AirBus design engineers.

The installed glazing system was constructed with a laminated inner pane and the Architects requirement only permitted an external grade solution. With its industry leading warranty the Titan film ticked all the boxes for the specification.
