Project Description
Client: BAM Construction
Location: Milton Keynes
Products: ProLam, ProClear, Cut Graphics, Digital Print
Network Rail’s new HQ in Milton Keynes was at the time, the largest building project in Europe. Bonwyke Design were asked to work alongside Clinic to brand this huge structure.
The site consisted of four large buildings surrounding a central atrium where the task was to cover this clinical space with stylish yet purposeful designs. Print and cut privacy bands were used to dress the glass partition offices to maintain maximum light transmission while ProLam was used to drape the white walls with vibrant designs.
Specialist access equipment was used to reach areas not accessible to conventional methods enabling our installers to complete work in all locations required. As all four buildings were identical, we advised Network Rail to characterise the structures in order to make them easily identifiable. By using our own optically clear coloured film, we were able to colour code the glass of each building allowing much easier recognition from the atrium.
The employees referred to each each structure as their respective colours as opposed to their actual names.
