Signals Defense® is a patented window film technology that has been engineered for high radio frequency (RF) and infrared (IR) attenuation. The window films allow Secure Compartmented Information Facilities (SCIF) to operate securely with windows while achieving high visible light transmittance and low reflectivity (low aesthetic impact).

Typically, the windows of buildings are the weakest point of RF shielding and provide little in the way of attenuation. The internally applied window film provides imperative RF attenuation delta required for efficient installation of internal antenna’s that may significantly reduce power requirements.

SD2500 and SD1000 both meet the high standards for the military and Government intelligence communities, by not allowing rogue signals penetrate the client’s environment. Both films are available as blast and RF combinations, to allow for one application if required.

SD DAS Shield is a commercial grade version designed to ‘clean up’ the electronic environment of an office. It works by creating an RF separation at the glass to ensure cellular connectivity is made on the in-building wireless system. Effective in densely populated areas where in-building wireless is deployed for reliable mobile phone service. Applying Architectural Shielding will improve wireless security; reduce interfering signals, EMI and attenuating unintended signals.
