Your conservatory is a very effective heat trap and the same could be said of rooflights in factories. The sun’s Infra Red rays (heat) pass through the roof sections and raises the temperature by trapping the heat inside.  With the increase in global and more local summer temperatures the health and safety issues around living in these warmer environments can’t be ignored.

CoolKote™ is a high-performance metalized PVC coating, which when applied to polycarbonate or glass roofs prevents heat building up simply by reflecting the sun’s heat away before it can be transmitted inside. Glare is also significantly reduced, enabling reading, watching TV, working- or just relaxing!

The significant difference from Coolkote^TM to a standard reflective window film is that Coolkote^TM is manufactured to expand and shrink with the Polycarbonate substrate of the roofing material. This prevents the film from adhesive failure over the course of time, which would normally occur if a standard film was applied.

Within the Coolkote^TM range is and internal and external version for use with Polycarbonate. Also available is Coolkote^TM solar paint as an externally applied liquid product.

The durable solvent-based flexible resin system specially formulated to provide a durable and flexible coating to polycarbonate, GRP, corrugated and domed roof light. Also cladding, bitumen sheeting, fibre sheeting, asphalt, block work, fibre glass etc.

With a white matte translucent finish, the paint is designed to reduce excessive heat and glare.  Ideal for those tricky roof areas where solar film may not be suitable, for example, corrugated industrial roofs and domed roof lights typically found in hospitals and schools.
